《冬之旅》作為19世紀的經典作品,無疑是舒伯特最重要的德語藝術歌曲之一。《冬之旅》所詠唱的詩句,正如同Caspar David Friedrich,其畫作所顯現出的主體透視觀點一般;《冬之旅》並不僅僅是過度感傷的獨唱歌曲;相反的,《冬之旅》揭示了去描述個人被埋藏在社會結構之下,其身體和感官的現象學之可能性。最重要的是,這種揭示深深的聯結到了個人意識的外部組成部分,也就是外部的自然和文化地景。

2011年,我再墨西哥城的Ex Teresa Arte Actual策畫了一個大型展覽,邀請了19位(組)台灣年輕藝術家或藝術團隊參加。這場名為「後態度」的展覽,創造了一個跨領域討論的平台:藝術家們使用不熟悉的媒材,來回應空間、媒材、歷史結構、甚至是墨西哥文學的脈絡。然而,這次在柏林的計劃我會建構出另外一種面向。這個計劃的目標是要去顯現介於單數/內化的藝術家意識和複數/流動的世界意識之間的聯結。本展所呈現的作品,將會去重現當我們的意識和感官介入日常的文化地景時,我們已經觸及了何種藝術?而當我們嘗試逃離這個系統時,我們又會再遇到何物?

As the icon of early 19th century, Winterreise undoubtedly is the masterpiece of Franz Schubert’s German Lieder. The lyrics/poems of Winterreise, just like the subjective perspective of the pictures by Caspar David Friedrich. It’s not merely an over-sentimental solo, instead, Winterreise evokes the possibilities to describe the personal phenomenology of body and perception, which buried by the social structure. Most important, this kind of evoking is deeply connected with cultural and natural landscapes, which plays an external part of consciousness.

In 2011, I curated a large-scale group exhibition, which presented 19 young Taiwanese artists/art groups in an early 17th century monastery (Ex Teresa Arte Actual) in Mexico City. The show, Post-Actitud (Post-Attitude in English), created a platform of interdisciplinary discussion. Artists were forced to use unfamiliar materials in responding the context of spaces, materials, historical structures, and even Mexican literatures. However, in Berlin’s project, I will settle it into another dimension. The goal is to expose the relationship between single/internal consciousness of artists and the plural/flowing consciousness of world. This exhibition wants to recover what kinds of arts we have already been reached, during our consciousness and perceptions involve into daily cultural landscape. And what will be reaching, when we try to escape it.
