林書楷利用父親工廠的手工木刻模具來當作積木，堆砌成一座座的「陽台城市」。這組系列作品不只在材質上反映了台灣產業發展的歷史，同時也描繪了藝術家的城市成長經驗。林書楷的作品總是和他的城市：台南，息息相關。台南市區廟宇、住宅、歷史遺跡層層交織的有機狀態，成為了林書楷在發展超現實圖騰的主要創作來源。林書楷希望把都市的這種有機結構看待成一種「部落」的狀態，從台南出發開始往全球擴散，交織成龐大的網絡和對話系統。
奧賽德工廠將協助藝術家在兩年內的時間，將「陽台城市」作品擴散到全球五大洲（亞太、歐洲、非洲、北美、南美）至少30個國家/地區。不論您身處在何處，如果您對參與、協助本計劃有興趣，歡迎使用以下信箱和我們連繫：

The Balcony City Series of Lin Shu Kai are create and piled by the handmade wood craving mold from his father factory. From the material his choose and used for the art works, we find not only the industry development history of Taiwan, also his growing experiences in the city. Most of the works of Su Kai are related to his City- Tainan, the main idea and the surreal illustration of his works are inspired by the organic structure/status and interlace of the temples, residential area also the history heritage in Tainan City. Su Kai hopes to reorganized the organic structure/ status of the city at the point of view of a tribal situation, try to create and spread a huge network connection and conversation from Tainan to the worldwide.
We The Outsider Factory will bring The Balcony City Series towards worldwide including Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, which includes at least 30 countries within these two year time for exhibition.
